Denise Cavanough - Living Expression

My name is Denise Cavanough and I have a love of simplicity and order. When I was a little girl I came across a book called Wind in the Willows and on the first page Mole was Spring cleaning his little home. He was whitewashing the walls, dusting and cleaning. I read this page over and over. There was something about spring-cleaning that captivated my heart.

As I was growing up I was constantly cleaning and rearranging my room, later when I was a young married mum, and I felt that my life was out of balance in some way, I would start to springclean our home from one end to the other. When I finished the house felt so amazing. I remember walking around the house and feeling the difference that it made to both the house and me. I felt re-balanced and able to focus with clarity.

Over 20 years ago I started an Interior Design Course but I realised that it was a decluttering, reorganising service that was needed. I then started offering people support in the home,  supporting with cleaning, organising, handy hints, positioning of furniture. Anything in your home that supports you to have a flow and ease while cleaning and clearing your space.

I find that when my home is in order I have a feeling of being settled, my life has a flow and an ease that supports me in all areas of my life.  I feel more solid and able to cope with life more fully.

I love cleaning, I love the feeling that is left behind when I clean my house knowing that I'm loving what I do. The house feels different. I sometimes find myself stopping and looking as I pass a room that I have cleaned, its like the love radiates from the room. When we clean with love we are leaving a quality behind that is felt by all, a gift to everyone who walks into this space.

The service I offer includes the placement of furniture, setting up kitchen spaces, eliminating clutter, reorganising cupboards, wardrobes that support you to make different choices in your life.

Over the years I have come to  realise that it is not about the clutter, it is about what is under the clutter. By taking responsibility for the choices  we have made that are self sabotaging and complicated that have got us to this point, we can eliminate the need to choose clutter as a distraction from living a life that is full of you.

I now offer support online via consultations, its like i'm in the room with you, doing your wardrobe with you. There is no difference, the energy is the same.
My approach to de-cluttering is now wholistic, it considers the whole person and the whole way we live.
This approach is inspired by the teachings of Universal Medicine and author and philosopher Serge Benhayon.
Read more about the background of this wholistic approach on the Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon pages.

I have always felt that how I kept my cupboards was about far more then just my cupboards. It was telling me about me at a much deeper level and the importance of the order that I hold in absolutely every area of my home because this is a reflection of every area of my life. The me that I think  no-one else can see.

Because of Serge Benhayon's presentations I now have a deeper understanding of what I felt. Serge has inspired me to look at my life in a completely different way, I have much more awareness in my life far beyond anything that I could have ever imagined and this awareness is constantly expanding.

When we deeply connect to ourselves we start to clear away the need for complications in our lives. It is this connection and by taking responsibility for what is going on around us that supports us to make different choices. As we start taking more responsibility, life begins to change. Our choices are reflected back to us in our homes and in our lives. The more loving our choices are the more love, care and simplicity come our way.

Previously I felt like my life was a roller coaster of ups and downs, by taking responsibility for what was happening in my life and making different choices, my life has completely changed. There is now a steadiness and a holding that is supporting me throughout my life.

By using routines, rhythms and daily rituals, my life has become much simpler and there is now a gentle flow.
Now when I listen to my body any choice to complicate my life comes with warning bells.

By giving clients the support that is needed and allowing them the space to discover what is under their clutter, they get to make different choices that can be life changing.
Clutter is never about the clutter, it is about what is going on under the Clutter.
It is like your home is giving you a reading, reflecting back to you what is really going on in your life.

When we choose to stop and feel what is going on, we have the opportunity  to make different choices that can change our lives forever.
