For years each time I looked at my bed I could feel a hardness. I didn’t get what it was. It wasn't that the mattress was particularly hard, but the bed didn't seem soft and nurturing. I would change the covers, buy different pillow cases, positions the pillows in a different way. Buy softer blankets, but it didn’t change. I always knew my bed was reflecting something to me. And I didn’t want to see a hardness, I didn’t think that I was hard. I had always felt that I was gentle and warm.
But my bed just didn’t change. Then I started to feel that the hardness was how I had been treating myself, and not about how I was with others. When I started to be more loving and gentle with myself, being more allowing of me, then my bed started to unfold into a Heavenly , Soft, Warm Gentle cloud.
From my own experience and from working with clients I have seen how a bed reflects how the person is with themselves and how much they give themselves permission to deeply nurture, there are patterns that can be seen in a bed! It is an opportunity to reflect.
How do you feel about your bed? Does it truly support you?
